2007 Monteverde Charisma fountain pen in Brown Marble I was surprised at the short size of the barrel on this 8-sided pen. But when the cap is posted, the pen's length is almost normal and writes comfortably. The barrel is made of aged celluloid that was cured for 8 months. Celluloid has a natural feel that is warm and responsive - not brittle or plastic-like.
